Aqua Pros Swim School was established in 1997. Our goal has always been to provide excellence in aquatics, one swimmer at a time.
Our program is designed to help students thrive and become competent swimmers while still offering the most convenient, family-friendly structure for parents.
We instruct all students: 2 month old infants through adults. Our swim program is divided into four levels, and class size is kept to three students in a group class and four in a Parent-Tot to allow for individualized instruction. All classes are thirty minutes long. Additionally, in our group classes, swimmers are grouped by ability rather than age. We never hold a swimmer back due to an age restriction. The goal is to have each swimmer progress at their own individual pace.
Once enrolled in our program, there is no need to re-enroll at the beginning of each session, ensuring that you will always keep your desired class time. There is no required commitment; you may stop lessons at the end of any session. We also offer $10 make-up lessons for eligible absence.
Parent-Tot Ages 2 months to 36 months
Introduce your young child to swimming through our Parent-Tot swim lesson program. These parent participation classes are a great way to spend some fun, quality time with your young child, while building critical water-safety skills.
Level 1 Ages 3 and older
Our Level 1 class is designed for the beginner swimmer.
Level 2 Ages 3 and older
Level 2 classes emphasize comfort, independence and propulsion through the water with proper swimming technique.
Level 3 Age 3 and older
Level 3 advanced swimmers are introduced to the competitive aspects of swimming, and perfect all competitive swimming strokes.

Swim Team/ Endurance training Ages 5 and older
Our Aqua Pros Saturday drop in Endurance training provides additional practice time to develop skills, techniques and endurance for those participating in Jr. Lifeguard programs and/or those working towards participating in a local competitive USA swim team.
Special Abilities All ages
Our Special Abilities program customizes swimming instruction specifically designed for children with special needs.
Pool PALS (Persons with Autism Learning to Swim) Ages 3 and older
Aqua Pros Swim School has partnered with the Autism Society San Diego to provide private swim lessons to those with autism, in addition to monthly pool parties and summer surf camp.
Private Swim Lessons All ages
One-on-one, private lessons are the most efficient way to learn to swim for any age, but they are especially recommended for the fearful or very shy child. Individualized attention allows instructors to focus on skills needed, and helps the student to master skills at a higher progression rate than that of a group swim lesson.
Adult Swim Lessons 15 and older
It's never too late to learn. Whether your goal is to conquer your fear of the water, learn proper technique, prepare for lap swimming or even competitive events, we can help you get there. Flexible morning, evening and Saturday classes are available year-round make swimming convenient for even the busiest schedule.
2024 Swim School Classes and Fees
All group swim lessons are a half hour long.
Monday-Friday from 9am-12:30 and 3pm-7pm Saturday classes are 9am-1pm
Yearly Registration and Insurance fee $45 per swimmer due January 1st 2024
Monthly Group Swim lesson fee
1 x week $24 per class (approx $96 per month)
2 x week $22 per class (approx $176 per month)
Monthly Private Swim Lesson fee (Private 1 on 1 or same immediate family unit only)
1 x week private lesson $60 (approx $240 per month)
Family discount: 3rd swimmer half off, 4th swimmer FREE. Immediate family members only.
Make up swim lesson fee $10 (You must notify us by a call or email prior to the absents to be eligible for a make up).
Late payment fee $20 after the 10th of the month.
Returned check fee $25
